CASE is still very new in the business. However, through our focus on the essential, little covered, hard-to-crack topics such as Autonomous Vehicle safety cases, we think our project portfolio could be highly relevant even for seasoned robotics professionals. Take a deeper look, and hit us up in case of any questions or ideas for your own project with us - based on existing projects or any new topic spinning around Systems, Safety, or Human-Factors Engineering for Autonomous Systems.

Projects with us can be set up in several ways:

Overview of ongoing projects as of November 2024:

While the first two projects are covered in the News section, the internal project CASE's Concrete Guide to UL 4600 is explained in the following.

CASE's Concrete Guide to UL 4600

We consider UL 4600 as the entry point for autonomous systems safety engineering and management. However, many organizations struggle to adopt the quite comprehensive standard or even to get a realistic view on the benefits of going that path. For this reason, we think that although written by practicioners, the UL 4600 standard needs further explanation and clarification regarding its general benefits and its concrete requirements - from people in the incredibly small group with experience conducting UL 4600 based safety assessments. Hence, we are in the process of writing an Introduction and Clarifications for all so-called prompt elements in the standard.
